Founded by Dr. Deb Kennedy, a pioneer in the “Food is Medicine” movement, and in collaboration with Rouxbe, the academy offers a transformative curriculum designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to make a lasting impact on personal and community health.

With a mission to heal people “one tasty bite at a time,” Food Coach Academy empowers healthcare professionals, wellness enthusiasts, chefs and home cooks to merge advanced culinary skills with evidence-based nutritional practices. The academy's unique program includes 13 self-paced modules that blend theory and hands-on learning, covering topics such as motivational interviewing, food and behavior relationships, and creating culturally respectful, impactful dietary choices. Graduates earn 510 continuing education hours from the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation.
