Paul is well acquainted with planning, resource planning, quality assurance, steel construction, safety and project execution. An APL is a comprehensive pre-employment collective agreement in which the basic working conditions for all those involved in the project are defined in advance. Kerry brings experience in recruitment, industrial relations, workforce planning, contract negotiations, collective bargaining, compensation strategy and policy development. More than steel, Waiward Steel became Waiward Industrial in February 2019. Our new name reflects this full range of construction, maintenance, manufacturing and engineering services offered by our full-service construction company. Andy Boelee joined Waiward in 2018 and is currently Director, Design and Engineering. Andy brings over 30 years of experience in the steel industry and has spent time in Edmonton and Vancouver throughout his career. Waiward Steel Fabricators Ltd. was founded in 1972. They began operating as various steel manufacturers in a 2,500-square-foot facility in Edmonton`s West End.

In the late 1980s, Waiward invested heavily in advanced production technology and focused its activities on the production of structural steel for many industries. In the early 1990s, Waiward acquired a 125,000-square-foot facility in edmonton`s east end and expanded it to over 216,000 square feet. Waiward grew its workforce to more than 500 employees and began doing business throughout North America and abroad. Mark Scott joined Waiward in 1992 and currently serves as Director, Manufacturing Estimation. With over 30 years of experience in the steel manufacturing and construction industries, Mark takes over the leadership of the manufacturing team. Not only does Waiward build communities with the power of steel, but Waiward also builds with passion for the people who live in those communities. Our guiding principles, we work with non-profit organizations and invest in those who share our vision of improving quality of life, inspiring forward-looking thinking and innovation, and making changes to create a bright future for future generations. Scott studied General Affairs at the University of Denver and earned a Bachelor of Business Management (concentration on Accounting) from Merrimack College (Andover, MA).

Scott is also a graduate of the CA School of Business and earned his CA/CPA name from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda. As Operations Manager, Construction, Jordy puts his expertise at the disposal of on-site project teams in the areas of construction, operations and human resources management. Jordy advises and reviews estimates, buildability ideas and project execution plans. In addition, Jordy participates in the development of safety and quality guidelines and procedures, with the obligation to ensure the implementation and compliance of all projects in the field. . . .
