To me, plant based means a focus on plants, but not to the exclusion of other types of food. It’s a shift to making plants the foundation of food, rather than the window dressing.

  2. For me plant-based means good health and a happy body and mind.

At one time it used to mean “granola bar” to me looking at plant eaters I didn’t understand as I ate a burger. Now that I’m one of them I know it really means “health” as I haven’t felt this good in decades. Food never tasted this good before.

Plant based eating for me makes me feel like I am doing my body good, I am helping reduce animal cruelty from factory farming and it just tastes so darn good.

  6. Suzanne says:

For me, plant based means a more conscious way of cooking and eating. It’s good for you, good for the animals, and good for the planet. Plant based eating also deepens my connection to food and to the earth. I love all of the vibrant colors and textures of fruits and vegetables!
