We’re really excited about the partnership we announced today with Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), a culinary training organization that helps high school students prepare for careers in the culinary industry.
We’ve correlated Rouxbe’s videos to the C-CAP Approved curriculum to create a powerful teaching resource for culinary instructors; and C-CAP has licensed Rouxbe for its 10,000 students and hundreds of teachers (non C-CAP schools can license C-CAP Approved/Rouxbe — contact Christine Lee at clee @ ccapinc.org).
It’s an honor to be working with an organization that does such amazing work. C-CAP has awarded over $34 million in culinary scholarships to promising young students who compete in culinary competitions to earn the chance to attend some of the nations top culinary schools. Their founder and CEO, Richard Grausman, is an icon in the world of culinary education, having won numerous awards including a James Beard Award and the President’s Service Award.
It’s equally humbling to have well-respected Chefs and educators support our efforts. Chef and author Marcus Samuelsson weighed in by saying:

Whether students are in school or working in the industry, Rouxbe has created an exceptional culinary training tool that can reach aspiring chefs on a scale not previously thought possible.
