Announcing: Rouxbe Cooking School Partners with Allrecipes.com
Exciting news for Rouxbe! We might be small in scale but we’re strong on instructional cooking video content and today we are very pleased to announce that we’ve officially partnered with the largest recipe site in the world – Allrecipes.com.

Allrecipes.com has been hearing from their members that they want to improve their cooking skills. So starting immediately, they will be sending their members to the Rouxbe Cooking School to learn the skills and techniques behind becoming a better and more confident cook.
This is a great sign that we’re on the right track in focusing on cooking skill, technique and cooking fundamentals. All in all, this is a great way for more people to learn about the Rouxbe Cooking School and how it can help them enjoy the thousands of recipes found on their site.
What does this mean for existing Rouxbe subscribers?
Most importantly, it means that you made a great choice in becoming a student at the Rouxbe Cooking School – as validated by this partnership with Allrecipes.
Oh…and don’t worry, you won’t see advertising appear on Rouxbe — we are committed to focusing on the exact same instructional cooking videos students in over 200 countries have come to enjoy and learn from.
And if you haven’t joined yet, you can get a 7-day free trial right here and if you like what you learn, then you can join for as little as $29.95 per month. It’s time – don’t you think?
I want to become a better cook (get a free trial today)
Finally, to all of our Rouxbe students out there, please help me welcome all of our new Allrecipes.com home cooks who have joined us here at Rouxbe.
Thanks, Joe

That’s great! Welcome, all you allrecipes.com folks! Rouxbe rocks, and I predict you’ll learn a lot!
Congratulations on the new partnership! What a great pairing for both you and AllRecipes. And a perfect match at that, your sites compliment each other very nicely. Both sites will probably see increased visits due to the other site’s cliental… very nice for both of you! Nicely done.
Love allrecipes.com and love Rouxbe!
What a great match! Looking forward to more greatness from both of you!
Congratulations!! :)
Well done!!
And I will now go to Allrecipes for more ideas. I was never sure which of the many sites that come up with a Google search were good. But if Rouxbe likes them, I know I will as well!! Thanks.
I have been using Allrecipes for a year or more, there is a lot of really good info to be found there. I look forward to all that will come from the partnership. Congradulations…….Jim Bridges
I don’t want to come off as a wet blanket, but I’ve tried some of those recipes and was sorely disappointed. In contrast, all the Rouxbe recipes that I’ve tried have been deeply satisfying. While I realise that recipe development takes away from your primary mission, the only recipes I trust are those vetted by Rouxbe.
The partnership for us is more about helping allrecipe users (and anyone else) learn about the skills and techniques behind cooking or at least behind recipes.
The great thing about actually knowing how to cook is that you can look at any recipe and say, “hey this sounds great but this part of it won’t work”, or “oh I am going to sear that meat first before I braise it for more flavor”, etc, etc.
Also, fear not Roy, we are not going to stop doing recipes (or lessons). In fact, you won’t see much changing from us. We are just trying to reach more people and help them to become better cooks.
Have a great day – dawn
Congratulations Rouxbe – I agree 100% with all the positive comments. Allrecipes.com was my favourite site before I discovered Rouxbe. They have a neat feature on their recipe reviews where users can click on the 20 most helpful reviews. Of course I find I don’t need that tool much anymore because when I read recipes now, I have gained the confidence to know where I should make changes.
Well done – both for Rouxbe and Allrecipes .com:)
Congrats to Rouxbe! Small steps towards greater exposure is positive business management. I do go to and get emails from allrecipes.com for stand-by recipes. Keep up the slow, considered growth. Good job.
I think it’s about to get crowded in here, the more the merrier
Congrats Rouxbe
Barry
That’s great, congrats!
CONGRATS!!!
The set-up at AllRecipes is pretty cool; you can easily critique various recipes and add your own tips. It helps more of us recognize the truly good recipes. And Rouxbe’s a great site using video to really show us some great tips. Congrats to both!
I found Rouxbe from Allrecipes and am doing the trial now. So far, I’m very impressed. Hopefully, many others will join me.
Great partnership for both parties. I am a ‘lifer’ on Rouxbe and I love it. The more exposure Rouxbe has, the better! Good work guys.
This is great!! I have a membership at allrecipes (since like 2002) and they were my favorite until discovering Rouxbe!!
Awesome! Congratulations! You must be proud!
“And if you haven’t joined yet, you can get a 7-day free trial right here and if you like what you learn, then you can join for as little as $15 per month. It’s time – don’t you think?”
I’m a bit confused…it says here “as little as $15 per month,” but the Rouxbe website says $29.95 a month. Could someone please tell me what the monthly fee is to access Rouxbe?
Thanks!
Jeri Ann :)
Since this post, which was published back in July, we have increased our prices. The free trial still applies however. Cheers!
Kudos to the Lifetime Membership! It was the best thing I ever did (other than date my current guy). I have leaned almost as much here as I did by my mom’s side 30-odd years ago. I even offered to purchase a lifetime membership for one of my best friends. Couldn’t do better! Adore this site.
